Rules of the world

Every country on the map has a throne. You buy it, others take it from you. Everything below is read live from the game configuration, so these numbers are the numbers the game actually runs on.

Conquest

  • An unclaimed throne costs its tier base price. S 500.00 CP · A 250.00 CP · B 100.00 CP · C 25.00 CP · D 5.00 CP
  • A held throne costs 1.25× its effective value, with a minimum increase of 1.00 CP.
  • When a throne changes hands, everyone who put CP into it gets it back: the previous holder gets their throne value back, each soldier gets back the part of their army that has not decayed. What the holder gets back falls to zero over 7 days — the longer you hold, the less you recover on the way out.
  • The platform keeps the 25% premium on top of the country's value, plus whatever the previous holder no longer recovers.
  • Effective value = (throne value × wound factor + army) × (1 + adjacency bonus).

Army

  • Anyone signed in can deposit between 1.00 CP and 50.00 CP into any country.
  • The army is added to effective value, so conquest gets more expensive for everyone — passive collective defence.
  • Armies decay linearly over 7 days. A country whose army is not fed opens up to conquest.
  • If the country is conquered, each soldier is paid back the part of their army that has not decayed, and the army is spent.

Taking your throne back

  • If someone conquers a throne you hold, you get 24 hours to take that throne back from them.
  • During that window the conquest price of that country is 20% lower for you.
  • The right is tied to that one country and to the player who took it, and it can be used once. An anonymous conquest grants no right.

Empire

  • Adjacent countries held by the same ruler form a chain: each gets +5% defence per adjacent country, capped at +25%.
  • To break an empire, take the weak link in the middle of the chain.

Free votes

  • Visitors get 1 vote a day, signed-in players 5.
  • Votes affect the popularity map and ranking only. They do not touch the economy or defence.

Money

  • All amounts are in US dollars, held as whole cents. No move uses fractional cents.
  • When a price is split, each share is rounded down and the leftover cents always go to the platform, so the books never disagree with what was paid.
  • You buy CP (Conqueror Points), not money. CP is in-game credit: non-refundable, and it cannot be withdrawn or converted to cash. 1 CP = $1 at top-up.
